A trusted foundation for every insight.

The right scope comes first

A trusted foundation for every insight.

TechTiera provides SAP Datasphere and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud consulting for landscape assessment, data integration, modeling, access design, performance and analytics enablement. We help teams determine what to reuse, what to modernize and how to operate the resulting data foundation.

SAP Datasphere is the evolution of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud. It provides data integration and modeling capabilities within SAP’s broader data landscape. SAP Business Data Cloud brings together additional capabilities and services; it is not simply another name for Datasphere.

Consulting and delivery

How we help with SAP Data Warehouse Cloud.

Build a focused engagement or combine services into a wider modernization program. Scope and acceptance criteria are agreed for your environment.

01

Data landscape and roadmap

Map source systems, business definitions, existing warehouse investments and consumption needs. Establish the role of Datasphere relative to BW/4HANA, SAC and other enterprise platforms before selecting a migration or integration approach.

02

SAP and non-SAP integration

Evaluate supported connections and data movement patterns. Design ingestion, replication or federation where appropriate, documenting freshness, reconciliation, source impact and the operational responsibilities for each data flow.

03

Business and semantic modeling

Design reusable analytical models, relationships and business definitions. Separate source complexity from consumption needs so teams can build consistent analytics without redefining measures independently across every report.

04

Security and governance

Define spaces, roles, data access and ownership responsibilities around your operating model. Establish conventions for development, controlled deployment, stewardship and review so that governed access remains manageable as adoption grows.

05

BW coexistence and modernization

Evaluate existing BW assets and dependencies. Assess reuse and transition options, including relevant BW bridge scenarios, against compatibility, licensing, functional fit and the effort required to preserve established business logic.

06

SAC enablement and operations

Connect agreed data models to SAC consumption patterns. Validate results and performance, document dependencies and establish monitoring, issue handling and change control for the data services supporting business-critical analytics.

Plan before you build

The decisions that shape a better result.

Existing investments

Inventory the BW, HANA, SQL and legacy warehouse logic that must remain consistent.

Data access pattern

Compare federation and replication using supported capabilities, performance and freshness needs.

Operating model

Assign data-product ownership, access governance, transport responsibilities and support accountability.

Solution scenario

One business definition across sources.

A potential engagement pattern to help frame your requirements.

The business need

A management team needs to combine SAP finance data with operational information held outside SAP.

A practical approach

Map source definitions, establish governed analytical models and validate a shared view before rolling it out to SAC consumers.

Outputs to agree

A source-to-model map, agreed KPI logic, access rules and reconciliation checks.

Our delivery approach

A clear path from question to operation.

Every engagement should leave you with more than a configured platform. Agree the deliverables, decisions and evidence that make the work usable.

01

Understand the estate

Identify business decisions, users, data sources, reports, models and operational dependencies. Agree the problem and the scope before selecting the solution.

Landscape and dependency map
02

Design the next step

Compare fit, constraints and delivery options. Define the target architecture, work packages, acceptance criteria and responsibilities.

Prioritized roadmap and scope
03

Build and validate

Implement in manageable releases. Reconcile business results, test access and performance, and record exceptions with business owners.

Test evidence and accepted release
04

Enable and operate

Document the solution, transfer knowledge and transition into an agreed support model. Improve the landscape as business needs evolve.

Practical guidance for your next SAP analytics decision.

Is SAP Data Warehouse Cloud now SAP Datasphere?

SAP Datasphere is the evolution of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud. We retain the former name here to help existing customers find the appropriate services, while using Datasphere for current product planning and architecture.

How does Datasphere relate to SAP Business Data Cloud?

Datasphere is a component of SAP Business Data Cloud’s broader data and analytics offering. The right architecture depends on your existing subscriptions, landscape and requirements. We assess the service boundaries and commercial dependencies before proposing a target design.

Does Datasphere mean we must replace BW/4HANA?

Not automatically. Existing BW models, processes and business logic may continue to provide value. A roadmap can include coexistence, selective reuse or a phased transition, subject to product compatibility and your operating requirements.

Can Datasphere combine SAP and non-SAP data?

Yes, through supported integration capabilities. The connection, data movement and consumption design must be assessed for the sources in your landscape, including security, freshness, source-system load and reconciliation.

What does a Datasphere assessment deliver?

A scoped assessment can deliver a landscape map, prioritized use cases, source and model inventory, access requirements, integration options and a phased implementation backlog. Deliverables are agreed before the engagement starts.

How do you keep analytics definitions consistent?

We document business definitions, assign ownership, model shared measures and validate them against approved reference outputs. Controlled change and reconciliation help prevent separate reports from silently applying different business rules.
