Support scope and service agreements
Which applications and platforms does TechTiera support?+
TechTiera supports enterprise applications across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SAP, Salesforce, OpenText, Hyland, IBM, Tungsten Automation, Atlassian and other product families. Our application directory lists products by category, including enterprise platforms, custom software, IBM mainframe and midrange applications, data engineering, AI and customer communications. Content platforms include Box and M-Files; automation and low-code coverage includes the tools listed in the directory, including OutSystems. Coverage for your versions and modules is agreed during assessment.
What are application support and maintenance services?+
Application support keeps applications operating through user assistance, monitoring, incident resolution and technical troubleshooting. Maintenance includes defect correction, preventive work, upgrades and enhancements that help applications remain useful as business and technology requirements change.
What is the difference between support and managed services?+
Support can focus on a defined application, support level or allocation of hours. An application managed service combines ongoing responsibilities, service governance and performance reporting under an agreed scope and SLA. TechTiera can structure either model.
Do you provide 24×7 application support?+
Yes. Business-hours, extended-hours and 24×7 coverage can be arranged according to application criticality and the service agreement. We define time zones, holidays, on-call arrangements and escalation procedures before the service starts.
Can you support an application developed by another vendor?+
Yes, subject to a technical assessment and access to the code, documentation, environments and licenses needed for the agreed service. We identify gaps during discovery and plan knowledge transfer and transition before taking responsibility.
How are SLAs defined?+
SLAs are agreed around business impact, priority, coverage hours and ownership. Initial response, service restoration or workaround, and permanent resolution are treated as distinct measures. Dependencies, customer approvals and third-party responsibilities are documented.
What does L4 support mean in your model?+
L4 covers escalation to product vendors or specialist engineering teams when an issue is outside the support team’s direct control. Vendor entitlements, product support status and responsibility for product-level fixes are confirmed in the service agreement.
Can we purchase a bucket of support hours?+
Yes. A support-hours model can suit a specific application or intermittent workload. We agree eligible work, consumption reporting, availability, expiry and any rollover terms. A prepaid hour allocation does not by itself establish round-the-clock coverage.
Can support include networks, infrastructure, operating systems and cloud platforms?+
Yes. TechTiera can combine application support with network, server, data center, database, cloud, IaaS, PaaS and operating system services. Dedicated teams support Windows, Unix, Linux and Red Hat environments, with monitoring, maintenance, patching and recovery responsibilities defined in the engagement.
How do you manage security and regulated applications?+
We align access, change control, patching and documentation with the customer’s policies and the agreed service scope. For regulated applications, testing and validation activities are defined with the customer’s quality and compliance teams. Compliance responsibilities remain explicit.
How do we transition to TechTiera?+
We begin with discovery, agree service scope and acceptance criteria, then transfer knowledge and establish access, runbooks and escalation paths. Shadow support and a phased handover can reduce transition risk before steady-state operations begin.
Custom software, legacy systems, data and AI
Do you support custom applications built with Java, .NET, C#, PHP or React?+
Yes. TechTiera supports existing applications built with Java, Microsoft .NET, C#, PHP, React and related technologies. Services can include incident resolution, bug fixes, code maintenance, framework and runtime upgrades, performance improvements and functionality enhancements. We assess the codebase, dependencies, documentation and access requirements before transition.
Can you modernize an existing application while continuing to support it?+
Yes. We can combine ongoing maintenance with a phased modernization plan. Depending on the application, this may include version upgrades, dependency updates, code refactoring, interface improvements, API integration and new features. Testing, release windows and recovery steps are agreed before production changes.
Do you support IBM mainframe and IBM midrange / AS/400 applications?+
Yes. We scope IBM mainframe applications and IBM i, AS/400 or iSeries applications as separate support areas. Services can include business-logic maintenance, batch-job troubleshooting, data and interface support, enhancements and selective modernization, with responsibilities defined for application and underlying platform teams.
Can you provide managed services for data engineering and AI solutions?+
Yes. TechTiera can support production data pipelines, processing workloads, AI / ML applications and generative AI solutions. The scope can cover job and service monitoring, incident resolution, data-quality investigations, dependency upgrades and enhancements. For AI solutions, we agree evaluation, model or prompt change controls and operational measures relevant to the use case.

Monitoring, NOC and SOC
What is the difference between monitoring, NOC and SOC services?+
Monitoring collects and reviews application and infrastructure health signals. A Network Operations Center (NOC) focuses on availability, connectivity, performance and operational incidents. A Security Operations Center (SOC) focuses on security events, threat investigation and security incident escalation. The services can share telemetry and ticketing while keeping responsibilities clear.
Can monitoring, NOC and SOC be included in application managed services?+
Yes. TechTiera can combine application support, infrastructure monitoring, NOC operations and complementary SOC services in one engagement. We define coverage hours, tool integrations, service measures, escalation paths and authorized response activities. Business-hours, extended-hours and 24×7 coverage are available according to the agreed scope.
Can you work with our existing monitoring and security tools?+
We assess your existing monitoring, SIEM, logging and IT service management tools as part of discovery. The service design defines supported integrations, telemetry sources, access, licensing responsibilities and how alerts become incidents and escalations. Tool changes or additional components are agreed before implementation.

We agree agent inventory, ownership, access, support coverage, service measures and escalation paths before taking operational responsibility.
How do you manage AI agent drift, hallucinations and execution loops?+
We establish evaluation baselines and monitor quality, task outcomes, tool behavior and operational signals to identify silent drift or regressions. The agreed controls can include grounding and output checks, human approval for sensitive actions, step and retry limits, timeouts, stop conditions, cost budgets and fallback workflows. Changes to models, prompts, retrieval and tools are tested before rollout. These controls reduce risk; they do not guarantee error-free outputs or fully autonomous operation.
What does Day-2 support include for agent APIs, tools and credentials?+
Day-2 support is the ongoing work after deployment: monitoring production behavior, managing incidents and maintaining dependencies and controls as the environment changes. TechTiera can maintain an inventory of agents, APIs, tools, service identities and accountable owners; assess API or authentication changes; review credential expiry and rotation; identify orphaned credentials; and coordinate approved revocation. Versioned releases, recovery runbooks, human escalation and service reviews keep responsibility explicit.
